The following policy applies to the website owned, operated, and licensed by Yrefy, and its respective subsidiaries located at www.yrefy.com, and all associated Yrefy landing pages linked to this website (collectively, the “Site”). Please review the following policies that govern the Site’s use of financial information that you provide to us. By using this Site and allowing any credit inquiry, you agree to our Credit Reporting Policy.  If you do not agree, do not use this Site.

  1. Use of Credit Information and Verification

By checking your rate or submitting a loan application on the Site, you certify that you understand the services you have requested are regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. You can review a summary of your rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act through the Federal Trade Commission here. Furthermore, you certify that you have initiated a transaction with us, and that the services you have requested may be used for, among other things, acts required to confirm your identity to avoid fraudulent transactions in your name.

  1. Get Your Rate – Eligibility Inquiry

During the “Get Your Rate” process, we may conduct an eligibility inquiry (also known as a “soft credit pull”) through one of the credit reporting agencies (i.e. Experian, TransUnion or Equifax). This inquiry should not affect your credit score. By clicking the “Get Your Rate” button on the Site, you have provided us with specific written instructions under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Those instructions authorize us to obtain certain information from your personal credit profile and/or other information from consumer reporting agencies. Upon your request, we will inform you of the name and address of any consumer reporting agency from which we obtained your consumer report.

  1. Complete Application & Promissory Note – Credit Inquiry

When you submit your loan application online, we may conduct a credit inquiry (also known as a “hard credit pull” or “hard credit inquiry”), a standard step in most loan applications. This inquiry will be recorded on your credit history and may impact your credit score. By completing and clicking “Submit Loan Application” and/or electronically signing the Application & Promissory Note on the Site, you have provided us with written instructions under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. These instructions authorize us to obtain information from your personal credit profile and/or other information from through one of the credit reporting agencies (i.e. Experian, TransUnion or Equifax). Upon your request, we will inform you of the name and address of any consumer reporting agency from which we obtained your consumer report.

  1. Free Credit Report

You have the right under the Fair Credit Reporting Act to receive one free credit report from each of the three U.S. national credit reporting agencies (Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion) during any 12-month period. Please visit each company’s website to obtain a free credit report from ExperianEquifax or TransUnion. You may also be able to receive free credit reports as permitted by state law. We recommend that you contact your state or local consumer protection agency or state attorney general to learn more about your rights in your particular state.

  1. Paper Copies

You may obtain a paper copy of this Credit Reporting Policy by printing it from your computer or by contacting us at support@yrefy.com or customerservice@yrefy.com. The request for a paper copy of any Communication will not by itself constitute a withdrawal of consent. We reserve the right to provide paper Communications to you at any time through the United States Postal Service.

It is your responsibility to check this policy periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes will mean that you accept and agree to the changes.
