Yrefy Review – Valerie
My name is Valerie Jensen. I finished my education in the summer of 2020 in financial accounting. I got some government loans, and not even enough to cover my schooling.
Valerie turned to private loans to pay for her schooling & many students are unaware of the difference between private and federal loans
I had no choice but to go and get private loans. I didn’t know that there was even a difference between government and private loans, and I don’t think that my mom knew either.
I’m the first one in my family to go to college… like a university.
All together, I think I had about $80,000 in debt from a bachelor’s degree.
You know, I remember I picked up the phone and I tried to explain the situation at hand… It wasn’t listened to or cared for. I felt like I was talking to a robot and they just kept demanding money.
I had every intention of paying my debt. I just needed time, to get ready, and to get the money, so that I could actually pay it off.
It wasn’t an option until I found you guys. Rose was the first person I talked to on the phone. She was so kind.. I feel like when I first started doing all this, it was that, you know, special situations happen.
Yrefy brought Valerie’s interest rate from a 9.5% to a 0.48%
We’re all human beings and we can’t control what happens in our lives, our parents, and our support systems — and nobody listened.
But Rose was just validating and patient.
I think what set it apart from so many other places was that, I got to be hands off and just breathe. All I had to do was give you my information–and then the solutions just happened.
I just got a notification from my credit agency that there’s been a change… and it was because I don’t have a loan in default.
We work with your lenders directly, so you don’t have to. Valerie doesn’t have to have a co-signer anymore.
The excitement when I called my mom and told her, “Guess who doesn’t have anymore loans in default anymore!”
My biggest dream is to have some sort of foundation or a group to help underprivileged kids.
And trust me, anytime I meet anybody, this is going to be the resource that I refer them to.
